Hell no they're not. As long as others have money, they're willing to spend it for them. You remember the the story of killing the goose that laid the golden eggs? Well they didn't understand it and still don't see what's wrong with it.

Rod will come on and say it hasn't cost him much more - so far and 1986 will say he's as healthy today as he's ever been so it's working perfectly, as designed - despite not having been implemented.

The reality is that it will cost the American Taxpayer well beyond double the promised cap and it will reach into areas of our lives that have little or nothing to do with health care thanks to the democrats - since not a single republican voted for this catastrophe.

Is this part of the obamacare law, or is it something else? I looked it up and I didn't see anything pertaining to healthcare. Usually excise taxes are used to influence people to do, or not to do, something. I do not have any idea why the dumbfucks in congress would want to tax fishing equipment.

As for the fishing gear, start paying your fair share without exemptions then maybe stupid sh-t like this won't work it's way into legislation.
Fair share? For six thousand years folks have determined the price of a product to be fair if the seller is willing to sell and buyer is willing to purchase at a certain price. That's fair share. Well, until you tax and spend liberals decided to add these taxes onto the cost of our fair share goods we purchase:
Accounts Receivable Tax
Building Permit Tax
CDL license Tax
Cigarette Tax
Corporate Income Tax
Dog License Tax
Excise Taxes
Federal Income Tax
Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA)
Fishing License Tax
Food License Tax
Fuel Permit Tax
Gasoline Tax (currently 44.75
cents per gallon)
Gross Receipts Tax
Hunting License Tax
Inheritance Tax
Inventory Tax
IRS Interest Charges IRS
Penalties (tax on top of tax)
Liquor Tax
Luxury Taxes
Marriage License Tax
Medicare Tax
Personal Property Tax
Property Tax
Real Estate Tax
Service Charge Tax
Social Security Tax
Road Usage Tax
Recreational Vehicle Tax
Sales Tax
School Tax
State Income Tax
State Unemployment Tax (SUTA)
Telephone Federal Excise Tax
Telephone Federal Universal
Service Fee T ax
Telephone Federal, State and
Local Surcharge Taxes
Telephone Minimum Usage
Surcharge Tax
Telephone Recurring and
Nonrecurring Charges Tax
Telephone State and
Local Tax
Telephone Usage Charge Tax
Utility Taxes
Vehicle License
Registration Tax
Vehicle Sales Tax
Watercraft Registration Tax
Well Permit Tax
Workers Compensation Tax

Once again Rod, your true liberal colors have shown through. Instead of looking at all the non-essential expenditures of our government, you simply expect the consumer to take it in the shorts to make things work.

While you say "just raise taxes more" I'll say "let's reduce spending." Time will tell which one of us is right. :D:)hand

No Doc I have been in better shape. But I have a trainer I work out with 2-3 times a week when I'm in town. But not this weekend. I have had a season pass for snow skiing in Mammoth for some time now. Leaving tomorrow for 3 days. Now that's a work out. Thanks for thinking of me. :))THumbsUp

No.

Medical devices meant only for animals are exempt from the tax, but other instruments that can be used for pets and humans, such as IV pumps, scalpels and anesthesia equipment will be subject to the rule.

I don't fish but I would never say its only for the rich. For some its probably one of the cheapest hobbies. The piers and beaches here in So Cal are full of fisherman with a pole, fishing box and some bait. They don't need a boat. Did Cabelas jump the gun as far as taxes on fishing gear goes.

When the fishing tax hits, Obama couldn't get elected city janitor in Hawaii. Those people don't see fishing as a recreation, or a hobby, but a right. There is no fishing licensing in Hawaii. If there was, there would be a civil outbreak.

Adding that into the "affordable health care act"( hil:) hil:) hil:) still laugh when I think of the REAL name of that pathic bill), is just one of those ways that they snuck a tax into the bill to fund it.

Ever wonder why there is ANY mention of firearms owned by the patient? Why the bill is specically worded that "questioning about ownship of firearms is NOT required of the doctor or his staff. WTF?? That needed to be in the bill, or will they be revisiting this later to "reword" the bill, without a congressional vote. They have already proven they can do this after the SC shot down portions of the bill and they just "reworded" parts.
How the fuck do you vote on a bill, then reword it after you force it thru, and not have to revote? Its now a totalling different bill. Probably for the worse.

Bet your ass, the firearm parts will get reworded, and they will simply drop the word NOT.

I'm sure I pay far more for my share than you do. Who are you to determine what is a fair share. You and your measly 12%. Only a liberal could look at a succesful person who payes 100 times as much in federal taxes than you do and still say they should pay a higher rate on top of it all. Shit like this get's into the tax laws because idiots like you keep electing idiots like yourself.

So can you tell me what fair share is? nobody can explain to me what a fair share is.
thats pretty easy to determine. The marxists believe you shouldn't net more than a high school dropout amking minimum wage at Mickey Ds. Thats why they are all in favor raising the minimum wage, so they don't feel so bad when they take home a little more.
The "fair share" , according to the socialist commies, is what ever it takes to pull everybody in the country down to their level. They have no intentions of trying to raise themselves up. Where they are in life is not their fault, its the fault of the ones better off then they are.

BTW, it has NOTHING to do with productivity. They DO NOT buy into that bullshit at all.
