don't know what a screen shot is but yes it keeps popping up and trying to get me to download.
I've also had gambling and porn icons appear on my screen.Never go to those sites or open the spam the appears in our email?
Don't know much about this stuff but it's frustrating to say the least to keep getting this pop up aas well as unwanted icons.

Is it asking if you want to let a program open?

I bet that is what it is...mine does that too when I start a program it doesn't recognize.

Don't know anything about Vista but it sounds like you've picked up a bot a trojan or both. Sounds like you need some real anti virus software

Malwarebytes is what you need to install. You have a virus (infected with spyware) that is trying to install software that has nothing to do with vista.

I just went through this and I can tell you straight up that AVG Free will not remove it.

Down load this...run it and be amazed. Costs nothing.

Here http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Edition/3000-2239_4-10019223.html?tag=mncol;pop&cdlPid=10888427 Don't ever buy anti virus software it's a waist of money, do some research and you'll see the best ones are free. I use this on all my computers and it's awesome.:D
Sorry, I disagree. I've tested alot of them at my company.

NOD32 is probably one of the best out there. It catches stuff for me all the others don't catch....including Avast, AVG, and Symantec.

Spend $40 and do it right the first time.

NOD32 for sure. Steer clear of Mcafee. Symantec (norton) is the worst.
