Dont listen to the haters, be sure to look up Duane Oblander @ Jet Pump Parts & Service & Racing Jets - Hi-tech Performance, inc. He is "top shelf" if you want the best from your pump. Check out the new "Snoot" and Race Nozzle package with the Elliptical Nozzle and his own design Racegate neutral/reverse bucket. The Elliptical inserts are available 2.90"--- 3.250" The bends on the bucket are removable for racing -or- put them back on for reverse @ the lake. The Racegate will fit just about any configuration as it has an arm on each side-- just cut off the one you don't use.
Several of these have been tested and "every" one picked up ET with them. The gain in E.T. is from the properties of the elliptical nozzle.and the configuration of the race nozzle.
The 0828 will be sporting this assembly in 2019

I have two friends with data on their boats, one reported that he was 2 tenths quicker from zero to his max mph. The other reported 3 tenths and 3 mph to the 1000ft. There have been others as well- but they didnt report to me directly.
Haven't heard of a single one that didn't get a gain with it.
