I was having lunch in the middle of the lake here last weekend and one of my so called mate's decided to crash my little party by driving past us with his OB engine trim up and yes we got wet. Well lunch was a write off and he was coming back to make another pass so I hit the key with the pedal mashed and with my jet trimming up.
It was a bit of fun at the time but there was a lesson learned. Don't have a water fight with a jetboat lol.
I feel bad for doing it now because his boat now has no windshield oops.

Has anyone here had a jet boat water fight?
I know now it is a silly act.

I offered to help fix it but he is still cranky. I think he is more worried about his pride than the boat.

sounds like he was askin for it. to bad about the windshield but no one hurt its all good!! this last summer 4th july on the lake they have a boat parade so we got in line my buddy and his crew kept blasting us with big squirt guns so I got in position and trimmed up foot down and blasted him off his pontoon funny as hell!!! And the crowd goes wild cheering us on to do it again. his pontoon and him took no damage just his pride and we stayed dry for the rest of the parade. someday your buddy will laugh about the whole deal after he fixes his boat Im sure.

this happened years ago at skiatook lake. me and freinds were anchored having a few beers and kids on the bank, cliffs actually, started hollering at us wanting a ride. we ignored them so they started throwing rocks at us. as we left, we washed them off the cliff into the water. ice chests, chairs and all.:|err

I have cleared the deck of a pontoon once, my buddies all standing drinking...i gave them a party...knocked everyone of the off their feet, pissed them off pretty good.....
rooster tail fights....hope you are in the jet, usually not many jets out so some has the advantage...You can put out camp fires on the beach

I've gotten a jet skier before for continuing to jump my wake too close for my liking to my boat, did it ever catch him off guard on his 4th approach to my wake!! hahaha I'm still laughing from it!!

At Needles, I had a jetski 'splash' me, he soaked the boat, Raybans went flying, etc. 2 quick turns later, and he was swimming down river for his ski, the wind knocked out of him. He wont do that again. Ive also had the 'follow in my wake' thing too, but a quick 180* turn will always stop that.

Great stories for sure!! Also forgot that I've blasted off a tuber before when I first got my jetovator, he said it felt like hitting a brick wall and he instantly went flying!! I felt so bad that I let him drive and blast me off for payback (luckily he didn't know how to do it perfectly!! hahaha).

Also did a fly by on my bro in law while he was having an important phone conversation on the beach at the river last summer!! Had my wife and my sister in the boat when I decided to give it a try and boy oh boy did I not realized that I was gonna get him completely, that water flew so far and just nailed him!! hahaha So wish I had a gopro or something to record the moment, absolutely hilarious......at least for us!!

Also had 2 other fly by's trying to hose people on the beach that failed on me, ended up turning too sharp just to have me wash out and swamp my boat with a ton of water over the bow!! One of these times ended up being with another bro in law when he was dating a snobby chick that was fully clothed with jeans and such. Needless to say she was fully pissed and I couldn't stop laughing for quite a few minutes, she was sooo soaked!! hahahaaha

Had a real high X on the Glastron CVX-18 ( 3 inches below pad )
Up at Hardy Dam - what used to be PARKERS LANDING - the bridge over the river.

Had a low life fisherman fishing in the middle of one of the center spans. ( where the boats go under ) Wasn't no wake then.
Told him that what he was doing wasn't safe for the boaters or the skiers. He told me to F off.
Went up river, turned arround, got to cruising speed and trimmed the drive a little higher than normal. Ducked down as we went under the bridge and nailed it.
To say the guy was pissed was an understatement.
Threatened to call the cops. I told him to go ahead.
That boat could throw water almost like a jet boat.

A while later they were following us about 50 feet back dead behind us so............Place Diverter full up and mash the gas. They disappeared in a wall of water. Hour or so later were driving around the lake again and I looked back and they were directly behind us again. I think they learned on the second time :happy:
Sometimes the jet skiers get annoying jumping my wake. Thus known as jet ski repellent.

I used to love blasting jet skiers that were too close, and a buddy of mine use to follow me and ask me to do it as it was a nice air conditioner for him. However one day he was a little close and I probably blipped the throttle and next thing you new I blew out his glass windsheild. Well several of the people in the boat had to go get some stitches... fortunatly it was not too bad and we can laff about it now. Case in point... there is a lot of force in that water, be carefull.

There was a small 18 ft jet with a husband and wife and their 5 year old or so just minding their own business idling through a party cove. Double deck pontoon decided to spray them with their squirt guns. The guy driving the boat just slowly idled into a good position, whapped the throttle and blew the people on the second deck off. Guy got a standing ovation, gave a bow and the pontoon didn't spray anyone in the cove for the rest of the day.
