Water injection off on tt bassets?

Long story short I have a wide band a/f set up that can't be ran with water injection(obviously). So my thought is to put a sensor bung up high kinda by the bassett label, 99% of the time it would just be pluged. But I would have the option of shutting the water off to one side, and spinning in an 02 sensor to check my jetting. I guess the real question/what I'm asking is do you think the rubber hose would hold up for a couple of minutes with the injection off and just the dump water going to the collectors.

I am doing the same thing. You also might want to plug the pee holes with sheet metal screws to eliminate false air. Here is a pic of what I did.

If I was going ot's I wouldn't worry about it, I'm going tt's. I'll try it and keep ya all posted, I think it will be fine.

THAT HOSE WON'T LAST MORE THEN ABOUT 5 MINS UNDER WAY BEFORE IT GETS HOT AND MELTS THROUGH KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON IT WHILE RUNNING IT WITH KNOW WATER, AND BE SURE YOU DON'T GET THE MANIFOILD TO HOT, AS YOU COULD WARP IT! GOOD LUCK!:)devil

X2 it happened to me. rubber connector hose melts almost immediatley. maybe if you can figure a way to cool the ends of the headers so they wont melt the rubber connectors you might make it work.
i have ran mine with only the water at the collectors with no problem
may have just been lucky but it has happened a few times when valve that controls water to headers got bumped
