This is a question that relates to the other thread..Are You Ready for Spring...there was an open and candid discussion about ladies wearing pasties around other children. Some thought it was OK and some thought it was not. Many thought with good parenting there is not a problem...I think there might be a double standard here..The question is do you feel it is OK for your 15-17 year old daughter to wear pasties while out on the boat with your family, especially around other guys..I am sure moms have one opinion and dads probably another..double standard..

Interesting

It might be illegal...:)eh:)
Wow, never even thought about that. Why would a dress code for a child be considered illegal if mom is standing right next to her and could wear pasties?

Now you see what I mean about a double standard..some say it's OK for mom to wear them around their son or daughter, and a lot of guys say it is OK until it's their daughter..

I didn't have any girls, but had I, I would say absolutely not.

I have full sleeve tats. If I were to have kids, they wouldn't be allowed to get tats till they moved out of the house (probably 17-18). Same difference.

There are plenty of things parents do, that kids should not (drink, smoke, wear pasties, have sex, etc). I am sure if we had a daughter she wouldn't be wearing a g-string like my wife does and she probably wouldn't want to. Most kids are embarassed of their parents till they get older anyways; so I don't think it would be anything to worry about.

If you raise your kids right, they will understand that Mom and Dad do things they can't.

if its not illegal, then its just not right. 15-17? wayyyy to young...I think 20 21 is bout young enough. Like boat cop said your getting into kiddie porn stuff. My daughter will NOT be wearing pasties before 18 and then I will encourage her to wait. It would be plain CREEPY when they are that young.

and this coming from the guy with the kid in the picture on the other thread:D:D. no double standard. Just my opinion is all

I have 2 daughters and if they felt comfortable enough with themselves and thier bodies I'd allow them to wear pasties as long as there was no law against it. I really think the American view on the human body, sex and all things sexual in general is pretty closed minded and puritanical, which is fine for some, not so fine for others. Just my opinion*

19 and 21, I've been through the whole teenage daughter thing, it was kind of unnerving but I gave them the tools they needed to make the proper decisions in life so I wasn't too worried about them. My oldest manages a Starbucks and goes to school full time, the youngest moved to Fallbrook 2 months after she hit 18, she has a full time job, volunteers at a children's afterschool program and carries 12 units at Palomar College. I'm very proud of them, and very confident in thier choicemaking qualities.

I wouldn't wear them around my daughter and I wouldn't allow her to wear them unless she was moved out on her own, or away at college. It's not really an issue, with her though, she is way modest.

Both of mine COULD (physically built), but choose not too. Therefore I don't have to decide for them. However, I may have a double standard as I like to look at other's pasties...:D
