how wet is too wet. when running water in my basset headers. what can go wrong in there is to much water. and how can i tell if they really put stainless steal valves in my heads

On my v-drive I have a pick up just for the headers. There is a .125" diameter restriction feeding each header. I put a clear gas filter in the line so that any junk that gets picked up doesn't clog the restrictor and you can see if the filter is getting filled with junk and clean it out. When cruising there is very little steam if any depending on the humidity but you can rest your hand on the header and it is just warm.
