Please take some time and watch this.

Argentina
Out of control foreign debt..enriched bankers and big business...made it easy to loot the country...and turned a rich country into a poor, one wiping out its middle class in the process.

We have a lot of the same issues here at home. I watched the video and also encourage all to take the time to. Anyone who thinks this can't happen in this great country is just flat naive in my opinion. Many fascets of it are already occurring.

Most disturbing to me is our government's quick reaction to bail out all the failing investment banks. A move that was thankfully modified before implemented. But still very disturbing is the fact our government continues to spend billions and probably trillions of dollars it does not have and has little hope of paying back... ever. That my friends is selling us out. Costs go up, inflation, dollar value goes down. Guess who pays. That person looking at your computer screen, that's who. And most won't even realize what happened.

Cdog soon we can all just adopt a modified version of your sig.

"A typical poor person"

Obamamania. Don't buy it. There ain't no free lunch. Take the time to watch the video. The similarities are eerie.

There is a startling resembalance of what's happening here to this film, every voter should see this film before voting! It's a good thing we still have our guns, it's starting to look like we'll need um.

The scariest similarity was the public unrest with the 7 year president who stepped down. People grew tired of his nationalism even though it was what made their country sound. After he stepped down they elect the "cult of personality" guy who sold them all out. He promised free everything and better times. Turns out it was all "Words......Just Words..."

We're on the same tract here.........

Keep your powder dry & Prepare to vote form the rooftops........

Recession? Unemployment? Bank bailouts? Record foreclosures? Stock market crashing? I think we are already pretty close, what I don't get is how you can blame Obama for this pile of shit already.

Whether Obama or McCain win, they are inheriting a pile of crap. Don't expect either of them to find a solution anytime soon.Reality

You can't tax your way out of a ressision. FACT!!!!!

bho want to do exactly that. If you think it's bad now just wait until more company's move off shore. His ideology is to mandate social change by making company's carry the weight since they are profitable.

What's to keep company's here with outrageous corporate tax when they can move to.....Ireland where the tax is fractional. Remember the world market is now more powerful than the US market.

The man believes capitalism is the down fall of our system. As he said in the interview with the plumber. "It's not that he want to punish you for your success it's because he feels everyone should benefit from your success."

Video proves he thinks wealth is going to trickle up from broke people who's job moved off shore instead of trickle down form success. All I can do is shake my head..........:|err

It's just a hosting site. The video was made by an Argentine journalist film maker. The fall of Argentina's financial system is well documented and is fact.

I apologize that it's on a bat shit crazy site. I didn't know how to post it from google video.

I agree with that and am not blaming him (yet). The point of mentioning him in as it relates to the video was in the context from the video that all politicians lie. Otherwise they never get elected. <<< paraphrased.

So if it sounds too good to be true... well you know the rest.

Neither candidate can fix or accomplish much of what they preach they will do. Just look at every President before them as evidence of that. The best evidence of the future is the past. It is an impossibliity. There are too many things they don't have control over (which is good, checks and balances work to an extent as seen in the recent bailout attempt). Obama has so many promises going I don't think he can keep track of them all. He appeals to the young naive voter, to the poor, to the minorities, just as the leaders in Argentina did.

I look at it this way. I know neither can do all or even much of what they say. So I look at which one is closer to what reality will like play out to be, not the pie in the sky guy.

Every President including Bush has inherited the cumulative pile of crap of those administrations and Congresses preceding them. It goes with the territory. That's further evidence that no one man (unless he's a dictator) can do everything he promises to get elected. (And dictators normally go just the opposite direction of what they promised as in Argentina). Our system here is more advanced that Argentina's. But don't fool yourself into thinking it can't happen here. If there's enough corruption driving it much can change. That "greed" word keeps popping back to mind. You only have to look as far as those who were initially scrambling to the front of the bailout line to see it before Congress halfway got a grip and put at least some oversight and control in it. That first proposal is an example of how situations like those in Argentiana get rolling. A few elite ram something through under the guise of an emergency without the people ever knowing or having a say. I still think the bailout is a bandaid and will long term make the problem worse rather than better (because the guarantor [the government] has no money to honor it's guarantee). But is is far better than the first proposal.

Lets go back, we are already in a recession. Obama has nothing to do with it at this point. Look at the current administration for answers and solutions.

What is McCain's solution? The reason McCain is going to lose the election is because of all the energy the Republican Party has been used to point out how bad Obama is going to be, in the mean time I have no idea why McCain is going to be better.

What will McCain do to save us. How can you not put any of the blame on the recession we are already in on Bush, yet you already condemn Obama and he's not even the President yet???????

Now this is good post.

The reality is no matter who gets elected, there isn't going to be a quick fix, nor is either party going to be able to make it worse on their own.

If McCain is to blame for all this then so is 99% of the house of reps and congress. McCain was not part of the cabinet of GW. I don't see how you can blame him for all this.

He has showed leadership in his fight of pork, earmarks and the Fannie may hearings back in 05. He has shown to be someone that will pull together a solution. On the other hand you have bho who has done nothing but speak about hope and promises.....What has he done??? Nothing!

It's a fundamental question. Today we're in a hole and we have to stop digging. bho is just a different kind of shovel. Who do you trust? Someone who has shown some leadership? Or the guy who speaks about it? Actions speak louder than words.

The free market is the path of prosperity for our county. Take a look around you. Look at other countries. Socialism has failed.

Actually that is incorrect. Obama as a lawyer was lead council on various lawsuits that sued mortgage grantors. The lawsuits alledged that the mortgage companies(banks) were not accessing enough low income people. That is in essence what started the melt down of the current financial crisis. Obviously he's not the only player, but many of his compadres are. None the least was Raines.

What happened to McCains flat tax proposal he was touting at the start of the campaign?
No mention of it what-so-ever anymore.

He's got three weeks to turn the election around.
