You're going back to a starter bike??? :p

I'd say it's pretty cool....

if you like things that suck. :D

In all seriousness, it's most likely one of a kind and being a jap bike, will probably run forever with minimal care. Might catch a few strange looks in Laughlin in late April though. ;)
Not for me Jordy.....

Hard tail, 4 banger will be rough and very, very slow.......If you only run it to the store and as a bar hopper it might get the job done. All sorts of parts and shit. WTF do you take it for service....lol

I guess I am going to go look at this tomorrow night

Its my son and he is chomping at the bit to buy a bobber. This happens to be in his price range. I don't want him on a bike regardless but he is 24 years old. he wants me to go with him and check it out. Has three boys of his own and I think he should wait till they are older.

Not good... He should get started on something that's easy to ride where he can learn the basics on a bike that is properly setup with good suspension, good brakes, simple ergos, not some bar hopper... I know that bike looks cool, but it's really not what you want your kid learning on.. Just my opinion...

I hear ya. He has been riding off road bikes for at least 10 years or so but not road bikes. Different riding and dangers altogether.

I am with you on this but being 24 and all not much I can do about it. Maybe just refuse to go look at it with him, I don't know.

If Dad is paying for it he has every right but if he isn't....oh well
I had cash in hand, at the dealership, looking at Harley's a few years back and I was told that if I got one and he was around it, he'd run it over with his truck... Funny thing, like 15 yrs ago when I was talking about a street bike I was told he would pour gas all over it, set it on fire, and then run it over with his truck, so I think he's warming up to the idea. ;)
