what happend to the big 344 cat ultra was supposed to unleash about a year ago??? i caught wind of it around the same time the DCB 35 wb leaked out. they had a pic of one they were using in adds. what ever happend to that thing????

We ended up selling the first 344 we built to a guy back east and he put 496hos in the boat and is very happy with it. He had it out last weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks. We have been getting some interest in the boat but with this economy we will see what happens.

He is very happy with the numbers he is getting out of the HOs. I think he is getting almost 90.

If that's what he's getting with HO's it must do over 200 with 1100's, know what I mean.

I was surprised as a true tunnel that it never experience any hop/porpoise during my test ride. Damn thing rode smooth as a Caddy.

They were running Ilmor 710 with Imco SCX Drives. I rode in it the first weekend out and it pulled HARD!!!! Drive height was not right and there were a few more adjustments needed.
