I posted a question about there V-Drive about a month ago. They / DCM responded and were working on the boat rigging and things getting it ready for its debut on the water. Also they posted some pic's of a very nice trailer. I have been following this build as-well maybe DCM will chim in with some news.

We are still around and actually doing great! I finally got some time to work on the V-drive this week. I have been burried building a lot of the Magics for Long Beach Yacht Sales and that has been keeping me busy working 80 hour weeks for the last 2 months. Right now, I figured that it would be best to take the paying work. So... I put the V-drive project on the back burner. But, even in this economy, I have been doing great!

I would like to get 90% of the water plumbing, on the boat/motor, finished up this week or next week. After that, I will need to address a couple of things on the rigging before the motor goes back in it, but hopefully that will go quickly. Then I can get going on the fuel system and the electrical system. Unfotunately building these boats takes a TON more time than a stock boat, but in the end it will be worth it.

Believe me, every day I go into the shop and I see the boat and motor sitting there. I would love to have this boat finished, but unfortunately it is not as high on the priority list as other boats. Once I get some time, it will be on like Donkey Kong. :)

I now Danny' s been knee deep with the Magic projects and that has put the v-drive on the back burner for now. I built his v-drive trailer and last week we did the a swing-a way on a 28' Magic trailer that was the biggest sway-a way i've ever seen. Beinning a v-drive guy myself the day will come that this project comes together and will be one of the best v-drive ever built.
