I have what seems to be a pretty stock 454 with oval port heads, flat tappet cam and dual plane intake. My plan is to use my ported 088 heads, matched dart intake and a decent hydraulic roller cam from my offshore motor. I will probably put new pistons in depending on what I find. Would these upgrades warrant me to change to a 4 point rail style system? Other attachment system? The motor is in a Hallett Daycruiser.
