Ran to Sacto yesterday and had the hardest time finding 91 octane for refueling !!!
Anyone know of some Marinas's carrying it? It would definitely be helpful.

It's hard to find up near Sacto (pretty much non-existant up there), but it's all over on the Delta. Orwood Resort, Discovery Bay Marina, Bullfrog, Pirate's Lair, B & W, The Point (Rio Vista), Tower Park, Village West (Stockton, by Garlic Brothers Restaurant), etc., etc. It's also hard to find out on the Bay. I don't know of any 91 past Pittsburg, but I've heard there is one Marina somewhere out on the Bay that has premium. I hold 200 gallons which is plenty to get me there and back, so I've never needed it when I'm out there.

91???? what about 100-105????? Anybody know anywhere south of Wheatland that sells it from a pump? 200 gallons I guess that could be a gas barge if need be.... lol ;)

I only got 20 to play with!
Bullfrog Marina actually sold 110 leaded race fuel for a few years because of the demand from a few of the guys with big blower motors. I don't think they carry it any more, as the demand has diminished so with the economy going to hell........ that's why my gas barge sits empty all the time now! :)hand

I know this isn't on the water, but race gas can be hard to find on the pump so I thought I would post that I saw a 76 station on Watt and Marconi was selling VP 100 octane unleaded at the pump for $7.99. It isn't too far off Hwy 80. I looked up the number 916-489-7133 if you have any questions for them.

The 76 station in Stockton on HWY 4, west of I-5 has 100 on the pump.

Update:

Tiki Lagoon has 91 octane fuel if you are down that end of Whiskey Slough.
They also have the cheapest price of gas anywhere on the water that I have seen lately.

The "manager" or at least someone speaking with authority in his voice (at Tiki) also told me they turn over the tank each week... so fresh gas. A lot of guys keep some ACES fuel additive on hand if they get caught with only having 87 available. From what I've been able to ascertain, there are many more believers than naysayers. http://www.bndautomotive.com
