I have just purchased a conquest deck with a 377 (320hp) with bravo 1. I would like to up the hp by 496 ho, 525 with x drive or keeping the 377 and whippling it and headers. With money and hp in mind, it looks like I can get the most or around 500 hp with a whippled 377 for the least amount of money. In theory sounds good to me and would be cool since I have not seen or heard of anybody doing this in a 28 ft deck. I want to know if anybody has done this? What should my expectations be with set up? I've read on the cheetah post that they are going to try this in there 26 wildcat to keep cost down but gain hp. Thanks!

I am in the same position. You have a Bravo O/D so you can handle more power. I have a Alpha and am at 300 HP now and don't know how much more it could handle. If you have the bucks go with the BB. If money is a issue then look at Whipple.
