    Default Porsche Carrera V8!!

Attached are a few pics of my Porsche. This is a very trick car. It started out as a 1974 911, then the slant nose wide-body kit (steel rear flares, glass front fenders & nose, stock steel 'bonnet') was installed. The interior features Autometer carbon fiber guages, new seat covers, carpet, Vintage Air A/C system, Alpine stereo. Drivetrain consists of a Vortec 350 Chev V8 mated to a 915 Porsche transaxle (can handle 600hp) with a complete kit from Renegade Hybrids of Las Vegas, NV.
The transaxle is a 5-speed and is running a dual-disc clutch. The aluminum radiator w/electric fan and and A/C condenser are front-mounted. It run cool (steady 180 degrees) with no overheating issues. The paint is excellent. It also has power windows. The wheels are German KBA 'Frondmetal' 16x7 and 16x8 with Goodyear Eagle tires.
This is a fun car to drive and has been quite dependable. I traded one of my 4 boats for it a couple of years ago due to a divorce. The boat was valued at around $18-20K.
I have other hot rods, boats & bikes and just don't use this car much, due to the short warm weather season here in Minnesota.
Offered at $11,000.00 OBO. I can possibly deliver the car to the west coast (for gas cost only). Please PM if seriously interested.
    Thanks, Dave

    SOLD!!!!

Too bad it does not have a SBF in it, it would be a bit lighter and more room. I wonder if they make a kit for the SBF? I did a Carrera conversion on a '78. I used a '93 engine though. That car would look sick Black !

    Very nice job !

I've heard some incredible stories of these cars.
This is no different from a sandcar with an LSX as far as reliability.
Look up the pedigree on the owner of the company, he knows his stuff.

This Porsche handles no different than the others I've owned ('74 2.7 Carrera and a '99 Carrera). The SBC (steel heads) is about 70 lbs more than a 911 motor and the same weight as a Turbo motor. This motor does not even need 1st gear (I start in 2nd). If I keep this I want to build a short stroke high-revving (7,500 rpm) 302 to take better advantage of the trans. ratios. Jocko
