1985 XJS with a roller cam 350 / 10:1 700 r4 trans 3:55 rear diff. ratio. I completely gutted this car 12 years ago, took all the glass, interier, fenders, doors, drive train, stripped the body and reassembled it with all new rubber seals, drove it everyday for about 5 years, put 40,000 miles on it, then 3 years ago, I did another complete paint. Has been sitting around ever since, I only drive it 2 or 3 times a year, to many toys, time to down size. I put a vintage air heater ac system in it and elimated all the blend doors and factory hvac system. I have driven this car in excess of 160 mph when the Pirelli's were new, it cruises nice at 90 to 135 you would think your only going 70. Also pulls hard from a dead stop, will run 12:90's to 13 teens the way it sits, great street racer or take it on the highway and run with 50 to 60,000 dollar sports cars. The car now has 103,000 origional miles on it. I'm thinking around 8500.00 or interesting trades, maybe a Harley or 33 Ford ?????............................................. ...........I also have a complete parts car with the 12 cylinder in it that was hit in the front and sat outside for 12 years, the interior is shot from sitting, but I have all the sheet metal and could be restored. goes with the deal for 1000.00. I was saving it for spare parts, but I never needed anything. The parts car only has 40,000 origional miles on it.
