If you haven't seen this yet, some more busy beavers share their experience and lazy me, do it the easy way. Since I have alocated a great 18 gallon tank that drops in between the stringers and all exhaust clears with no problems! No fumes, fuel dripping on paint, just he sun to expand your boating time!!!!
Yes, this is what b-boats copied! Harlan Orrin designed and built a 4 straker, rare, RACE boat!

wish I would have done what the jerk said about the tanks,,its to late for me I already cut them out but he has a really good idea and it keeps the boat looking original plus the storage space, cant go wrong there,,,and the tanks were put in really damn good, it took one full day to get them both out and sanded down,, but once the job is done its done if you haven't started cutting already maybe you should check out his idea I think there use to be pictures of them wasn't there???

Default Aqua Craft Shark resurrection complete!!!!

Here is a re-visit of a post from the past!
Some of you guys may remember me or the boat! So after about 6 1/2 years of off and on work and between all the other stuff life throws at ya, I finally her done! Yep! She's turn key, full of 100 LL, 30 min. cam break in time done, and ready for a lake test soon! All mechanical components were gone through, fixed, rebuilt, or upgraded , including building a fresh mighty flat solid tappet FE 428 to provide the fun and noise! Also re-did another trailer. This project was not intended to be a show level restoration.. I just wanted to bring her back from the dead and have a righteous vintage old v-drive boat that runs strong ! The name "Last Dance " stays because this really is my last dance with big projects! BTW next summer I'm planning on a four seating set-up so I can take my grandkids for rides and all those Russian women who want to meet me !

Very cool. Thanks for the update. I look forward to seeing pics of it on the water and hearing how it runs. Very well done. Now I will have to go through the thread and re-read it.

Looks nice!!! glad to see you haven't given up on it,also glad to see another shark! It seems like I never see or read anything about people having them now or even aquacraft for that matter, its nice to see another one and have another person that I can ask how theirs handles or what set up they have (we both have a shark) so maybe we can learn from each others experience,,,,i liked talking to the jerk (he had one) and rcl I believe had a aquacraft but I just noticed he had it for sale, and dam if I lived their I would have bought his (it was beautiful ) anyways glad to see your almost done please post some pics on the water and let us know how she does!!!!

    Default shark

Boyd AKA JERKENHEIM still has his Shark he would be a great source on your boat
you can pm and send your phone number to him and he would love to talk to you.
he has done lots and lots of research on the shark. the B-boat has the same
bottom as the shark. this is what Boyd has told me.
