TODAY 9/13/18 GETTING READY TO GLASS DECK ON AND PUT IN NEW SIDE BRACES AND KICK PANEL.......FLOORS ARE ALL NEW BALSA HARD TO TELL WITH ALL THE DUST INSIDE THE HULL...THEN WHEN THAT ALL DONE ON INSIDE THEN THE NEW GELCOAT COMING..................WILL KEEP YA UPDATED...............
It would have been interesting to have mapped out the bottom of the Riv next to the bottom of a Revenge to see if the basic dimensions were different. From what I understand the Riv had more rocker (could be VERY wrong here) and also have the four strakes. It will be interesting if it will handle more like a B-boat now. Either way, it will be dang cool.
P.S. Parts are on their way. Let me know what else you might need Mike.
Shan, on another thread we established that the Barron transom was the same width as the narrow boats, so you would be right. It will be interesting to see how this hull handles with the changes.
sorry if you guys thought i was being a dick........looks like it to me too.....
my mom had a heart attack that morn like at 2 am i followed the ambulance to the hospital..she is doing better for 88 yrs old
i had lost interest a bit do to the time frame for nyd at elsinore
i will mez my transom today when i go by the shop...
stu is doing a great job ..just taking a while longer.....he sent me pics of the new carbon fiber wrapped toe board..
Yea, Billy said the Bezer had all the same dimensions as a standard Biesmeyer except the transom is about 6 or 8" narrower. The gunnels seem a bit wider making the cockpit have a narrower feel too.
I was in Needles a couple years ago and got out of my Bezer and into Rod Wagners Biesemeyer. It felt so much bigger than my boat, completely different. Are any of them really the same though?
Mouzer you said you cut 2” out of the freeboard on this thing. Is it going to float? Here is how my Bezer sits in the water with 1/2 a tank of fuel. It’s going to be sketchy.
That atmosphere maker you have weighs a pretty penny. Not that it is the only issue at hand, but it makes a difference. His sure will sit low though. I think he will figure something out when he gets to that point. I bet for now he is more worried about getting it out of the glass shop. LOL
You have a dang good point. Maybe being NA he can also get away with a smaller fuel tank as well. Time will tell. It should look pretty dang good when finished. I can't wait to see it.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
