4th of July I don't know where we're going yet. Memorial Day Weekend we will be at Sprague Lake (Made reservations at the Four Seasons yesterday). But for Labor Day Weekend, the Mardon at Potholes Reservoir in Moses Lake is the place to be for sure.
    Nice boat by the way

On the 4th of July, you should be at a TEA party (Taxed Enough Already) unless you are one who loves the direction this government is headed. In that case, stay home and watch the mail for your mortgage and fuel fees in check form. They should be mailed out any day now.

Spokane here as well, I just stay close to home and tear up Long Lake for that weekend. Be nice to see some other fast boats out there!

I can understand the no pets deal. Every year at MarDon it seams like there are more and more dogs. Most of them are no problem, but you never know which ones won't like the other ones and eventually there's always a fight. Of course I don't have any dogs or cats so I don't have much at stake.

Kinda sucks about the fast boats tho...

Thanks for the heads up. yeah when I made the reservations she told me all the lodging units are no pets and no smoking. smoking only in front of the house (not on decks). no biggie for my unit and those staying in it.

Well every year that area is surrounded by lots of jets and v drives, as will this year again. The races may not be there but they cant do anything about us staying there unless they change the type of resort it is (as you mentioned). But with the way the economy is, I am guessing they will welcome anyone right now.

Default SS396 you are not in the know

just like I am....As of today! The race IS ON, so please be thoughtful of those who work so hard to provide a place for us to compare speeds!

Sunbanks Resort has been and still is one of the best sponsors and resort for Nostalgic flat bottoms and hydro races. Just because you have chosen to not race anymore, dont spoil it for the rest of us, please. Mr. Negatoid!
For those of you who know how good this site and event is, it's Fathers' Day weekend just like last year!

Opps, I stand corrected, it's June 13-14 not Fathers day weekend. Sorry

I think lots of folks from the Spokand/CdA area go to St Mary's for the 4th and the fireworks.

I imagine we'll be hanging out on the Snohomish river with the rest of the North enders.

We do Labor Day at St. Mary's. Best fireworks of the Summer.

Usually go out and see the Coeur d'Alene fireworks on the 4th. But the show is getting shorter each year and basically sucks.

Harrison does a great job on the 4th as well. Lots of cool boats, cool people, and a great fire works show.
