Default Winter Project Time. Who is doing what?

Need to get through these cold snowy winter months so I just picked up a T-Deck Jet and will be rebuilding it from the ground up. I also need to finish up the Daycruiser but that is Just Interior and I will be paying an upholsterer to do that so it ain't much of a Winter Project. WHo else has a Winter Project?

Just setup stuff on mine Jim. Nothing too exciting. May swap some pulleys around if Barry will let me...

Oh, this should get interesting for me trying to figure this out. I just picked up a Berkeley 12JC which is going to get the conversion to a split bowl as well as a COMPLETE racing type prep done. Inducer, SS Impeller, etc etc. ANd I will also be building a motor. Would like to keep the motor in the 496ci BBC range but am looking to get 800 HP out of it at the Optimal RPM's to match the pump. Since I haven't built either the pump or motor yet, I guess I have alot of research to do as to what parts will work best to get me a 496c BBC Normally Aspirated that will put out 800+ hp @ XXXX RPM's (Depends on Impeller and Pump setup???) I know I can get the horsepower, it may take some CNC Alum Heads, big Compression, lotsa lift, and some big carbs, but it can be done. But getting the Horsepower in the right RPM range to match the pump might be a challenge.
I was even looking at saving up for a DRCE Motor...... But I'm pretty sure that would be not so easy matching up to a pump because they typically are High RPM apps (Great for props, not so great for pumps?)

    Any ideas, recommendations, suggestions?
