    Default Slain Police officers families

Just wanted you all to know in case you're jones'n for pizza and there's a Papa Johns pizza joint around you. Don't know if they are participating but it wouldnt hurt to ask them if they would be willing to help

Regardless, the Rorks are gonna be putting the feed bag on in a big way Tuesday and Wednesday evening ....................john

"Next Tuesday and Wednesday, ALL Papa John’s Pizza parlors in Kitsap, King, Snohomish, Peirce, and Island Counties will be donating ALL their proceeds to the families of the four slain Lakewood Police Officers. My attitude is – get the word out to everyone you know to eat nothing but pizza for a couple of days! And what a great way to show our support (and fill-up on good pizza in the process)! Please get the word out!"

    Thanks

    Thumbs up

A two-day fundraiser that overwhelmed local Papa John's restaurants raised a whopping $125,855 for the families of the four slain Lakewood police officers -- six times more than the restaurant chain expected.

Papa John's guessed it would raise about $20,000 from the two-day effort and see about four times the normal activity, as we told you Wednesday.

But the restaurants were caught off guard. Puget Sound restaurants were 10 to 12 times busier than normal and ran out of ingredients as some customers waited up to three hours for their pizzas.

And they're still getting calls from people to donate. Staff have been instructed to direct people to the Lakewood Police Department, which has set up a fund for the Lakewood families.

Papa John's should deliver its donation to the fund by early next week,
