I'm interested, what can you tell me? Where, when, is this organized? Is it a run? Cost to enter? Let me know!
    Thanks

it is organized! is was started on skagenboats.com. it is a local forum for us "hot boat" guys/gals.
we will be launching at the rotary park (also known as lowell) in everett somewhere around noon. we will boat up river almost into snohomish and hangout at the sandbar on the river. should be a good showing!

pm me for more info if youre interested!

Just a day on the sandbar, no money needed except for what you put in your tank.

I'm hoping the weather holds but as long as it's not pouring we're in. We'll bring the whole cold weather gear, like the BBQ and maybe some fire wood.

We got soaked!! But we still had a good time. I didn't take the camera cuz I knew it'd get wet. I did see at least one there so I'm sure some pics will show up. We filled the back seat with firewood and the ez-up. The cover was perfect, the fire never really got hot till we were leaving... Oh well.

Still waiting on the pics, I would love to see what it was all about. The weather sure has changed hasn't it?

Headed to Flowing Lake today, gonna break out the tube and kneeboard and invite the neighborhood. Should be a good time. We already staked out a place and the boat ramp parking was full at 10:00 am. My boat is sitting at the ranger shack right now waiting to get wet.
Have fun on the river, someday I'll make it out.

Flowing is a nice place, but way too busy on a day like this. Way too slow a speed limit also. We'll be on the river here shortly, see you there!

So I ran the river up to Snohomish with my work boats. Lots of debris and dead heads in the water. Is it always like this or is it because of the recent rainfall?
I want to be able to do some training and some high-speed maneuvers and turns but can't if there's so much junk in the water.
    Is it always like that?

When the monsoons hit it washes a lot of crap into the water. We've been known to boat it when it's dirty too tho... Once you know the areas to stay away from, the rest is just watching for floaters and driving around 'em.

Wasn't like that the times I've been on the river.
