I ended up working late tonight, so I'll be up working on the boat in the morning. Hope I can get it ready to go quick and get down to the river!!!

Took most of the day, but we finally made it out! Had to launch in Snohomish cuz of the low tide.

So far this boat kicks the crap outta the old 18. It takes bumps way better and is just all around smoother. Not quite as fast yet, but I think it'll get there. The stock fuel pump and Q-jet run out of fuel fast past 4400 rpm. Fastest GPS was 48 before it started running out of gas.

Overall, we're very happy with our first run. The sun was still out this morning and Gayleen asked me, "how long would it take for you to fix that fuel problem?"

    Thumbs up

Malcolm , she looks great and no wonder it's better than the 18 , because of the deeper deadrise . We use the 19 in some pretty good chop at Skaha Lake no problem . Here's a short clip of my son getting with the 19 at OK Falls .

    Hey Attila!
We really like it so far. The only negatives so far are the speed, and reverse doesn't work very well. We had more storage room in the 18 also, but I'm sure we'll get that figured out quick enough.

It has another Olds in it, but a Berkeley pump this time. The engine plan is still a little up in the air. I want to pull it out and check the bottom end at least. We all know how these Olds' love to spin bearings.

I also have most of a 454, I may decide to do a last minute Chevy. We'll see.

I can make your boat 10 to 15MPH faster very easily. Any boat owner knows you are allowed to add 10 mph to the top speed it acually goes, and if your boat looks fast just add 15. You are the only one that says what it really goes. Try it ,it works for $0.00. Eric
