Default 1983 Schuster Tahiti 16' bubbledeck I/O project

    Howdy Y'all,

Been a reader here for a while but new to the forum and just wanted to share a project of mine.

I picked her up for $450 about 5 weeks ago and gave her a little love on the weekends (the guy I bought it from had purchased it from a salvage yard about 10 years ago and it had been sitting ever since) . It is not perfect but it is ready for the lake. The Volvo AQ130 (4 cyl.) is mated to a Volvo Penta 270 outdrive, and appears to have been rebuilt and only run for a few hours before being left for dead. The interior had all but rotted away but the wiring and cables were in good shape, and the pics tell the rest.

Sweet little boat! My buddy has the same hull, except I think it is from the 70's. Still runs great at lake Mead. Nice Job!

Thanks, it was a fun project. I will be taking her to the lake for the first time tomorrow morning, should be fun. Now I can get to work on the other two boats in my yard. I will upload those pics as the projects are finished.
