    Default 6.0 fords suck a$$

so yesterday my father and mother were heading to tucson with a load of 150 bales of alfalfa hay for my sisters rodeo horse pulling this was the 6.0 ford diesel my mother has and i get a phone call at 4:00 pm asking me to load my dads 1992 7.3 liter ford diesel with 185,204 miles on a trailer and play trucks swap just a little bit past gila bend. about an hour and a half drive for me. so i get the trailer and load the truck haul ass up there and load swap trucks out that damn 6.0 just died while driving down the road so once we wenched the 6.0 on the trailer i hauled ass back to yuma and proceeded to party all night at the bar with some friends. Now i feel like shit haha sorry just had to get this out

Like my buddy carson said once "I feel like a pornstars box ... All tore up" haha

so i guess the moral of the story is if you own a 6.0 ford diesel SELL IT they are pieces of chit this truck has been nothing but focking problems.

The old 7.3's are hard to beat. Still have my '95 F350 with 262K miles, runnin strong with stereo up loud.

I am a Ford guy and had an 01 7.3 and traded it on a 04 6.0L it left me stranded at 465 miles and broke down 3 times after that. I traded it for a 05 Dodge Cummins and loved the way the truck drove but the body and paint were junk! I sold it and found this 2000 with 85K on the odometer! This truck will have to be stolen or wrecked before I get rid of it!
    Thanks,

Thanks for posting this dp85, I am looking for a new used truck and was considering a Ford, there seems to be a shitload of them for sale on Craigslist, guess I will stick to looking for a Dodge or Chevy...

I've owned Ford trucks over the years ( which were great, and I'm not biased) but your right, that 6.0 is trouble. I've had a lot of friends stranded with low mile 6.0's.
