    Default Truck Rental

Does anyone know of a company that rents 3/4 ton trucks that are equipped tow a 5th wheel travel trailer? I have a family trip coming up and my Ford 6.0 is out of commisioin. I have been tring to lemon law ever since it broke for the 25th time and I can't have it fixed until we settle with Ford.

holy crap what year is your 6.0 i have the same motor 06 though and have had my probs but nothing to warrent a lemon law turn in. that sucks. rental places i dont think you will have much luck. it will be a liability thing. youll have better luck borrowing a friends truck if thats an option. where u going on u trip?? how long and what kind of 5th wheel do u have? u obviously dont have to answer those. not trying to pry

this is why i did not buy a new diesel i still have my 96 f250 4x4 lifted wheels tires crew cab short bed still in mint condition inside and out. i swapped out the independent front end to a dana 60 straight axle. it has air bags for my 5 wheel. you just cant beat that 7.3. i bought this truck brand new in 96 and still get compliments on it. when the wife drives it to work every once in a while someone leaves a note asking if i want to sale it NO ITS NOT FOR SALE. HA HA LOL hope you find a truck yo should be ok . shit rent the home depot truck most of those are 3/4 ton trucks.

Truck is a stock 2005, I started out with the normal problems of a 6.0 (high pressure oil pumb on the back of the motor, EGR cooler, turbo hoses blowing off) Then when it hit about 30,000 it was at the dealer every month. Things like trany wiring and computer problems (that took a month to figure out) The #8 injector tip blew off on Thanksgiving weekend, I have also had three other injectors since then break. The truck has been towed into Ford 9 times in two years and driven in with problems another 7 times. I truely just believe this truck was lemon from the factory because both my brothers have 6.0s and they have not had the problems I have had.

I tow a 39ft Warrior which loaded weighs 12,600lbs. empty and around 14,000lbs loaded.

    Thanks for the info
