    Default new guy help

hey guys, i live in south chandler, az and i'm a new guy. bought a boat a few weeks back and it's been a blast. its a 21 ultra stealth. fun boat. i'm going to the river this weekend and can't get my boat in anywhere to re pack the bearing on the trailer. i have zero experience doing it and just want to make sure i dont light the side of the freeway on fire on my way to blythe from a hub catching on fire. if any of you guys know how to do it and need some extra cash i'm willing to pay. i know it's begging, i'm willing to pay in cash or beer. thanks in advance. i will be eternally grateful.

jack up the bad axle bearing side only as high as you can get it. remove the tire, then with a chain or a strong ratchet strap or two. prefer you use chain wrap the axle to the main frame then lower the jack your hub at this point should be about 10 inches off the ground. then drive your shizz to your mech and git-r-done. its safer than it sounds. ive been in the tow industry for about 15 years this is what i do for guys who dont have tires and dont want to pay for a tow. i have personally towed my 23 footer like this from barstow to fontana with out any incident. if your mech is close by youll be fine doing this in my opinion

I did one years ago. It was easy as I recall. I think it was from the salt water in firebird lake that destroyed it. Single axel, can't chain that bitch up, well unless you live in AJ.

first off i would like to thank everyone for their help in finding a good guy to take care of my trailer. Cave suggested i give randy moran a call and let him do the work. All i can say is he's just about as good of a guy you can find. Not only did he take care of my trailer, but he noticed a couple of other things that he took care of without any charge. He really went the extra mile to take care of me and i really appreciate it. if you need a boat mechanic give randy a call.

Randy's a good guy and always goes out of his way to help people. You just found yourself your mechanic going forward.

    Good job Randy!
