Default Beezer Burning at Sag (Safety folks!)

Here's the UTube links to the videos shot by a fellow boater from the westside I never met before. Long story how I got them, and the fiasco converting them, but here they are.

And the second, which kinda shows her going down

Wow that's somber to say the least. Not one boat tried to put it out. Lift the drive and gun it. I've been there. These new boaters don't get it. Rendering assistance to a fellow boater is just good Karma. I expect it from the younger wake boaters but not the bigger boats that can use there drives and spray that deal down.

Very sad Ray. But hey you still got the moo...

Looks like it went down near Echo beach.

Fire Exinguisher was right there on the gunwale, didn't do much, I guess. The fire was under the floor and behind the fuel cells.

Yeah it was a 21' biesemeyer, I called it the Beezer, lol.

Yeah, it does suck! But, in the end, and really beginning, as I rememember how I took it (What was it, April this all happened?) Noone was hurt, it was my only sibling driving it who swam away safely, and was a strong lesson learned. (I was on the backside of the lake scareing teenage girls to death with the Moo while all this was going on).

I'll never take anyones word on "turnkey" again. No matter what, it's coming apart and will be reflected in what I am willing to pay for a boat.

I have 2 more boats to rebuild now, and a third being rebuilt for me (Actually for my son), in Vegas by a dear friend. Always looking for a 4th! Have a lot of hardware I'd like to do sumpin speshul with.

Only posted it to put an exclamation point on what happened out there. Too bad it doesn't show the whole story, but does show how bad it coulda been for passengers.
By the time I happened across it, it was fully engulfed (After the first, longer video and before the second), wouldn't have done much good at that point, let alone the Moo did not have a diverter at that time. Then the Deputy Sheriff's arrive, I have 11 people in the Moo by this point and 5 lifevests, lol! Noone questioned that, just took them off my boat.

Still have friends that wanna try and raise it themselves. Divers. I'm game if they ever wanna go do it, pump, diverter, engine block worth saving maybe. We'll see.

In the mean time, I have found and am going to buy a replacement 21' Biesemeyer tomorrow.

    Ray

But thanks guys for the heartfelt comments. I was never, and still am not upset about it. It is what it is, and noone was killed or injured, it's only money, lives cannot be replaced, lol.
