    Default Parker 300

Being a major race in Southern California and western Arizona, it is fitting that the Parker 300 finds it's own thread on this site. There are currently 30 boats pre-registered for this event, often referred to as the "indianapolis ot boat racing". Over 50 boats are expected to run, with over 30 currently registered. Prize money is currently near 9000 bucks with a goal of 10,000. The theme of this race is "let no boat be left behind". If you have ever wanted to run your fast "river racer", ski boat or what ever, this is the place and the date. You may have beat a bunch of guys in "beer" races, but here is a chance to prove your hot boat can run 300 miles and actually beat some one! The race is October 24th, sponsored by the Blue Water Casino, Parker Arizona. Look for the rules on ENDURO300.com (If you don't find a Division that fits your boat, contact Ross and he will find a Division for you to run. There is more on BRF.com as well as the present site of Performance Boats. The Colorado river authorities are usually very tolerant of testing on Thursday and Friday, prior to the race as long as the driver's are courteous and safe. Irvine lake also provides a site to test your hot rod boat.

    Thumbs up 10:00 a.m.

The race should start on time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning October 24th.

BTW, I am looking for a few more patrol/tow boats (no experience necessarry) to help out during the enduro. Best seat in the house and I will cover the fuel the boat and offer souvenir T-shirts to those that work the race. For more information on how to get involved please call Ross at (310) 318-4012 or email [email protected]

Thanks and we'll see you on the 24th!

supposedly, the boat/plane can make 650 miles on full tanks, just don't know how danged slow it would be. Probably get lapped about fifty times.
But fun to think about it. Would need copilot/navigator and crew.

Go up 260 to the turn off to Parker and when you get to Parker turn right at Terrible Hershes sp?. Go out to the Blue Water Casino (on the left) and follow the signs. Have a good time, I'm going hunting and fishing for 5 days up at Roosevelt. I'll lie to you later.
