Default outboard repair in Havasu on short notice?

(I hope I'm not breaking any rules by this post) I just found out I dont have to work this weekend. So I'm going to Havasu. Does anyone know of a competent shop that could put an impeller in my Merc Outboard this Friday? (April 23rd) I know the chances are slim with Desert Storm and short notice and all. Thanks for any help. Mike K.

Just an impeller? Thats a pretty quick job, i but you could get it done. Call all the shops tomorrow morning and try to schedule an appt. Im sure you can get it done. Al's outboard, or lakeland are the two big outboard shops in town. Try posting this up in the outboard section, you might find some help there also.

If you're handy, buy the parts at West Marine, Lakeland, etc and do it yourself. Shouldn't take more than about 20-30 minutes.

Thanks for the help. I could do it for sure, but I haven't been to my place in Havi for awhile ...so I gotta do house stuff while the engine is serviced. Thanks for the tip about the Outboard Doctor ... I was able to talk to Sue and she was cool and fit me in. Sah wheet!
