    Default Drowning at Apache Lake...

    Maricopa County Sherriff's Office has identified the man whose body was found Sunday afternoon in Apache Lake.

    John Schneider, 46, of Tucson, was discovered dead around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, said MCSO spokesperson Lindsey Smith. He is presumed to have drowned, Smith said.

    No further details were available.

    Apache Lake is a reservoir and popular recreation area along the Salt River east of the Valley.
