    Default Murl Bruton racing

I am the nephew of Murl Bruton. I am very interested in the were abouts and condition of his boats. Specifically the outlaw 806 owned by (chris owens now?) and hell fire. My dad was Jack Bruton and drove for my uncle Murl. When my parents divorced i lost touch with that side of tha family. however, looking back over those years as a child on hellfire and watching my dad run outlaw had a big impact on me. I have seen some postings here about him but want some real info about his old boats. I am 30 years old and am a mechanic in the Coast Guard. I feel like some of my early years in my uncles shop Bruton's racing had something to do with that. Watching him crane out the UBGJ 806 big engine and rebuild it what seemed like every winter. then watching them to my amazment pick up the entire boat with just 2 people. At the time i thought he was so big and strong. Now i realize that yes he was BIG but he built boats scary light. So put the word out to the old school i am asking around.
Respectfully Ben French birth name Ben Bruton.
