Default Sad day I'm moving tomorrow

Being in the construction business sucks right now. The company that I worked for 6 years was almost going under. Two years ago we had 20 superintendents employed. As of July we had myself and one other guy. I had a great job offer come up with someone else on the boards, to go run some Federal work. After a month of thinking about it. I took the job I willl now be residing in Albuquerque NM. I am proud to know the East Siders and all the other boaters and racers in Phoenix. I had a great ride and will always chearish the great times that we had. See you all later, wish it could have been a personal goodbye. I'm still going to work on the K-66 but just from futher away.
    Thanks for the ride

Elephant Butte is about 2 hours away. I am working for a company that does all the construction for the Indian Health Services in Okalahoma, New Mexico and Arizona. Looks like it's going to be a great job.

Best of luck Rick. We have some good friends in Albuquerque and you just might learn to love the move. Be aware that we'll always have a place for your safe return should things change down the road.

Thanks Doc. I'll still be at the Finals and most of the circle boat events. You know that you and your little guys are more than welcome in our pits anytime........

On the weird side of things I deal with Tittes and Beer, Jordy, Mardonzi, Big Worlock on a daily basis right now. The future will be good as I have years of good Karma coming back. I'm going to miss our Thursday get togethers at the Native New Yorker with TAF, Fred Hart, Kyle, Fo Shitty, Bad Betty, Cave and all the other great people that love boating.

The economy is moving many of us around. I suffered the same fate. It's not bad, it's not great, but I suppose it gets better. I keep telling myself it's better than being unemployed.
