Default Apache Trail closure to Apache Lake

    State Route 88

If anyone is heading up that way from the PHX side. Be aware that they have started the road project and Pilot Car is in place for November 14 from Fish Creek Hill to the ADOT yard on the flats by the creek. Then on the 15th the road is CLOSED till January 22, 2011.

Erik we have all ready discussed this and you'll still have to use the Cargo Helicopter to drop your aircraft carrier, it is a flatdeck correct. But thinking about it if you pull onto the bridge just a tad and back it down the 88 to 3 mile wash you might just make it. But when you launch be careful not to back into 3 Mile Island. I think you have only about 50 ft

NOT, It's left that way because it's a historic highway, and must remain dirt/gravel. It will never see pavement.
