I will be next summer. I'm supposed to be working on a project in Vegas for 2 and a half months. I will have to bring the boat for that one! Haven't been to Mead in about 10 years. Should be a good time.

I live in Boulder City and I boat on Lake Mead occasionally, I have been going to the river more and more lately.

I don't anymore. Since Boulder Harbor closed I can't launch. My truck will start floating before my boat will. I'm leaving it down in Havasu in February and will just boat there from now on.

Heard from the Gate person at Mead on Saturday that they are working on boulder harbor, and hoping to have it open in the spring.

Also, launched at Hemmingway, and while it was a shallow angle, there was concrete (not the old torn up asphault from last summer) under you to launch, which was nice not having to worry about dropping into a hole.

That would be good but I don't see how it would unless they do some serious dredging and keep the water level up. Maybe with the higher annual entrance fees they could afford to.

Got to find the pics of us at the dam watching the water run over the spillway, the same weekend a wave broke out the window in the restaurant at temple bar.
