Default 2nd Annual Casino Royale Poker Run on Utah Lake

Looks like At Your Leisure and Nordic Boats are putting on the poker run again this year. I wasn't able to make it last year, but I'm planning on going as a spectator this year. We're loading up the ice chest and will be moored just south of Lindon Marina!!

Anyone else up for hanging on the lake???

Default Would not miss this event

Cant wait, Dizave called me on the way out of town. Cant wait because the water level should be high enough for any style of boat to run.

I was out on it a couple weeks ago and it's at up at least 6'. The entire south ramp and peninsula and restrooms are under water at the Provo Marina right now. The jetty was just barely above water. Last I heard American Fork was still under water.

Here's a picture of the jetty heading out of the marine. Not the best picture as it was on an old cell phone.

Default So how was the veiw?

We did the poker run and it was the most fun my wife and I have had doing the run. The fact is that it was an event that you should enter next year. The donations were going to the state parks and the lunch was great, good weather, and so many local performance boats out.Great poker run and with the water level that high it made it that much better. I have never posted photos so tell me how and I will try. By the way every one on Dizaves boat won at the raffle. Dizave one this cool Nordic beer stein that was really cool, we won shirts and a hat, and some BoatBling cleaner.

I can post some pics for ya if ya want....usually the will be larger if you do it...when I post pics for peeps they always are thumbnails. I was by lindon when the group was on the homestretch back to provo. It looked like Ted's boat (LA PERFORMANCE) was the 1st one past us...it just so happened I was giving Wolfie's boy and friend a ride about then so we ran beside him for a few seconds. Outta curiosity do you know how many miles the course was? I was tempted to run this year...but didn't know if I could pull it off with only 30 gals. of gas.lol

Default Would love to post photos

The help would be really cool. The run went all the way down to Lincon beach, Saratoga, Alpine, and Lindon so 30 gallons you could pull it off. Just not sure how a jet does on fuel. Dizave had full fuel and we only ran a 1/4 on each side. He has a 25 Nordic with 496 ho. Thats with four adults and Dizaves 2 year old. She did so good not on issue she really is a boater in training. Also have some cool fire photos from the other side of the lake.
