There will always be a negative stereotype follow the hot boat crowd for whatever reason. Facts are that most of us are very safe drivers. I am a little confused at all the BS that follows us, like writing tickets for whatever they could find not perfect to the rul book down at Moro, while you have 10 year old kids ripping it up on jet skis in the main channel just around a bend. Or sending all the law they did to greeson last year supposedly to monitor the following crowd rather than the jets themselves. I know that the heat comes and goes at greeson, it will be a nice relaxing place to jet and camp one year, and the next some ya-hoo will be writing granny an open container ticket for drinking a wine cooler on an air mattress in front of her campsite (has happened!)

I'm taking it that Greeson is a no-go this year? Usually we'd have dates set by now.

Greeson is a no go due to Law Enforcement! We were told by a law enforcement officer that when we have a gathering it causes problems for the entire lake. So we don't want to be causing any problems for the local Law Enforcement and AGF. We love the lake and love having the gathering, but when AGF has to bring in extra officers to swarm the boat ramps and lake it takes the fun out of everything plus takes up there time as well. We don't want to Burden anyone by coming to there lake. The Outlaws are out to have a good time and good fellowship everywhere we go we do our best to clean up after ourselves we try to be as safe as possible and we try to help the community where we are at. In 2010 while we were at Greeson we donated money for The Albert Pike Volunteers after the flood and 2011 we donated some money for the local Volunteer Fire Dept. There are to many lakes in this area that we can go hang out and not have to worry about Burdening anyone.
Hopefully down the road the Law Enforcement will back off and not use us for an excuse that we cause the problem. So, until then everyone join us and all the other jet boat groups at the other lakes and lets keep the jet boat family a growing. Because to me that's what it's all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PARTY

Hobbs you would think in this day and time that income would be welcomed in the small towns. It's probley not even the Jetboat crowd, it's probley the other people it attracts !!!!

Couldn't have said it better myself Hobbs..!!!!!! I'm with TNYoungblood. You would figure the revenue that is generated and if this was welcomed could generate would be a determining factor to simply encourage the Local Law Enforcement and AGF too simply Keep Us Safe not encourage us too go elsewhere to save them a hassle.Regardless I have had great times on many many other lakes !!!! Let's keep it going and gather where WE ARE WANTED and do what we do best......... Show your H2O Hot Rod and PARTY!!!!!!!!!! Long Live The Outlaws!!!!!

Maybe one day I will be able to afford a second motor...something small just to keep on the engine stand for "emergencies". Maybe if we sell all these dumbass jet boats and buy toons the law won't be as bad on us! We'll be drag racing at 22.3 mph!
