    Default Pump poll...paint or polish

    Well I really don't like the chips in the paint on my pump, and it's red with a flake in it that I'm sure I can't match worth a shiat. I really wanna get rid of the transom adapter on it too. The easy thing would be to sand it and paint it either a close to matching red, or white. Option #2 would be to polish the whole thing..but that'll be a PITA but looks killer. I'll post up a pic and see what you guys think.

    If your pump is half in half out-i have patterns for the transom plates. HPJ used them on his warhawk, and WT has a set also. You can add or trim but they are a good starting point. One vote for polish!

    Scott the cleanout hole is right in the middle of the transom from looking at the inside. I don't like that much silicone on the bowl at the adapter. Chop had just rebuilt the pump too. Might have to pick up those plates or bring some plate by and trace them out for a starting point.

    I dont have the want to for polished stuff. I tend to get drunk around my boat when its on the trailer and polishing is the last thing on my mind.

    Vote:: Paint.

    Tint, is the transom templates for berk or Domy? I gotta do mine and patience is not a vertue of mine..

    Default Paint

    All the polishing by everyone here looks great! I don't have the time to do an entire pump or maintain it when it gets dull. I have some things on the boat done, but not the pump!

    Vote - PAINT
