with my Top end in excellent shape.

im going to have a valve job done on the heads(im sure it bent a few valves nothing major tho)

i bought a 4 bolt main block that is close to me and im going to build me another pump gas 496 and re-use my Straub solid roller set-up for that build and heads and all my other stuff and save a ass load of money and buy more beer!!!!!!!!!

i gots to thinking about letting go of all that dough and said i have let go enough on this new boat

better components this time and ill spray the shit outta it if i wanna go fast

god i love changing my mind and saving money

Damn son when you do work you do it big..... Havent seen one that trashed in a while.. But glad the upper end is all good. 496 will still push your little rocket fast enough to need a beer afterwards... Sounds like a good plan.

i pulled my motor out a second ago, it'll go to mr Kuntz as soon as i get the coin to fix it. i couldnt get the bad lifter out, nor did i take a head off, prolly need to check out the pistons and see how bad the juice has been treatin it over the last few years. my fix will definately be cheaper than yours. as bad as it looks, you should be proud, that thing if FOCKED UP! that will be a good story teller for a while to come!!
