    Default Project

I thought you were looking for a project? That is a very nice rig. Go ahead and put the 540 with a 300 SHOT in it and the 468 back in the winger.

It is a project Grady !!!!!! It was alittle more than I wanted to spend but I got a proven boat and didn't wont to pass it up

I built the 540 for the winger as its my lake boat and my baby .. I've built everything on the boat for the 540 so to take it out would be kinda crazy ... I finally got that thing runnin and pretty close to where I wonna be with it .. I'm gonna stick the 468 in the Cheyenne and see where it puts me and my plan is down the road build a all lumi high compression race engine and would love to get in the 8 second class .. Thats the plan as of now, its just gonna take sum time to make it happen .. I'm not gonna get out there and run a 8 or 9 second class in a boat that I don't know .. I think one has to really get sum seat time before you step it up to those kinda speeds .. Thats just me, I'm not scared of it, I just know that you have to respect it .. I'm gonna run a few races at the KDBA and would love to run the cove if they get it back going and maybe Weatland .. Were just gonna have fun and who knows might get real crazy with it and start running in the points chase .. You never know

Sounds like a good plan there buddy! As long as you are havin fun! Hammer down! I'm gonna guess you might make the 12 second class with the 468. Thats a uneducated guess.

I figure 11 sec would be about right, but if it's 12 sec that will be cool with me too. But I think the boat will do better than 80 mph

I'm not being a jackazz but really, Come on now!!! I ran 88 to 90 mph within a 1/4 with the 468 in my full interior 860 lb winger, thats gonna be in the 12 sec class .. This boat weights less than 400 lbs and you really think its gonna be slower ..

I don't know what its gonna run until I get out there and do it and if its 15 sec class that will be fine with me
