    Default Clark TX19 project

Just picked up a 79 model. It's going to fiberglass shop next week for new stringers and dash. Any advice , tips, tricks, mods, I should be doing before rigging boat.

I don't have much advise for ya but welcome to the crew. just make sure everything is straight and true and flip it and check the bottom for straightness.

Looks like a project that I did! Welcome to the site and good luck with your project! As stated before check the bottom for strightness and check the intake set! Have a blast doing it too!

That is a neat pattern on the boat different than all the hockey sticks! Do you have some good pics of the deck? I want to see!!!!

It's a Clark. It's a lil different from my 81 youngblood I had. Does look exactly like a warhawk. I'll try and get more pics today.

I'm gonna just make a 2 seater with probably a 502 on it. Something on pump gas and reliable. I had a tx20 with a 509 on rave fuel and it sucked finding fuel on weekends. As for paint I'm probably gonna go black with tiger stripes. GO LSU!!

I live right in the atchafalaya basin. I don't see any more jet boats or any hot boats over here.

Soon as I get a day off I'm bringing it to shop. Said it will take about 3 weeks to complete. Then I can start painting if everything checks out good.

I haven't heard of a Clark either. But I emailed yougblood website and they said Neil Clark built it. He worked with Jim for years. A guy in pearl river will be doing the glass work.

A little paint advice...SEAL that flake with something STRONG or next year you will see why. I used epoxy primer...twice on mine...its like sanding concrete but it works.it also helps because it fills when block sanding it...really straightened my bottom during my restore. just my .02...others do it different.
