    Default E-85

im very excited i found a place that sells it(by accident)today on our way back from shopping!
its 1 hour away and in a place i would have never looked!
a Propane place in Waldron AR.

i gots there phone# and i will be talking with the owner Monday.
i filled my 2010 truck up with it today for

    3.09 a GALLON!!!!

i have talked with Mark Sullens about this before and he will convert my carbs for it.

all i need is some empty VP drums and away i go!

3.09 is way better than 9.75

i hoping this works out for me and dad as it will make next summer better

there is a lot of myths about this fuel
for instance like you use 2 times as much all BS

i have read that you only use at most 30% percent more.

i plan on doing more and more research along the way.

the goal will be the have it converted over when i re-dyno with the new cam and oil pan.

i had thought about this before but kinda got to the way side by peeps that really no nothing about it.

best to do homework and talk to peeps in the know!

    Default Price

Trav, about 2 weeks ago I saw some in Little Rock selling around the 2 dollar a gallon range. I think 3.09 is a little high. I would have tried it in my truck as well, but I had just filled

Ok. Maybe it was 2 something. I remembered the two because I've been so accustomed to paying over 3!

There are 2 stations here in Little Rock that sell it. Any time we are all meeting up somewhere and you need some, just let me know... I'll load up a few jugs.

I'm debating on converting mine too! How much does the guy you know charge per carb? Pm me?

bout time you started burnin it instead of drinkin it trav bet it runs great on the stuff im jealous as hell of anyone with a steady supply of e85.

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

Tom i had thought about it before?
kinda talked myself outta it and it was going to be over a 2 hour trip one way to get it plus i had to deal with Little Rock

3.09 maybe high but it only takes me roughly 50 minutes to get it and Waldron is very small!
plus its not even in the town limits
that is worth a extra dollar a gallon to me

Mark Sullens is over on yellow bullet he is very Knowledgeable in the fuel and that is all he does is mess with E-85.

google Mark sullens carbs and it bring up his web page with contact info.

the cost is not cheap(to have him convert) but will be worth it in the long haul imo!

im not going to tell what he is going to charge me as he may do it different for another app?

i will do all my homework and take the necessary steps to try the best i can with.

Not to get off the E85 track but why can't your engine at 13.6:1 run off VP 110?

Just wondering cause I'm going to build sum compression in the next mill and about all we have around here is 110 and 113(I think it's 113).

You gonna dyno that thing on 113 to see if the cam oil pan and vacuum pump make a difference . Or just go whole hog in the other direction with this other plan.

Hey Tiger..... what was that you shared with me about the alky based fuels around the water and the maintenance? Seems like it was very similar to my alky based experience in the cars and boats
