Default Anybody remember a black YB TX19 with some purple/pink on the deck bout 10yrs ago?

Been trying to track down some of the history on mine, Peanut Holder got it around '02-03 and it was the first time I'd seen it after it was painted like it sits now. I messaged his son Kolby tryin to get some info on it prior to Peanut getting it, he said when his dad brought it home it was black with some ugly pink and purple on the deck on a single axle trailer? Ring any bells for anyone? He said he'd look around for some pics and whatnot for me.

Wonder if Mikey Holder and Peanut (Harold Holder) are kin? I met Mikey once when him and another guy came to look at the old Eliminator Sprint I had a few years back.

    Cory,

I'm thinking most of those Holders in that neck of the woods are kin.... from Texarkana to DeKalb.... By the way Mikey called today from Afganistan.

You might ask Robbie, Chop, Coop and/or Larry Welch. They were all jetboating in that area at the time. And Wayne that painted the boat is Larry Welch's son in law.

Funny thing..... I'm even kin to one set of them...... but through another tree.... the Lanier family. Puts me kin to Henry Holder through his wife Evelyn and their offspring Don and Sue. Sue's husband, the late John Sullivan was my boat buddy from '77 until his passing in the '90's. John was the first owner of my TX-20. Don is one of Mikey's favorite cousins. I can't tell you what all those two have been into together!!!

Thanks Gear, I figured they were pretty much all related. I was supposed to go to Afghan but passed on that. I remember around that time going to Ft. Worth to watch Robbie run his boat at the time. Wayne did a good job on the paint, been all these years and it might just need a good buff and polish. Haven't talked to Robbie in a couple of weeks, I hardly ever see anybody anymore..unless he's riding around in one of the Red River Fire Dept. trucks hard at work

Was it black metallic and the design looked like the color spectrum from the cover of dark side of the moon?

Went back and reread your first post and realized you were talking about your boat and not one that is at my shop that is black with Pink Floyd colors painted on it.
