    Default 42Johnny

Ol Johhny got the call. Shipping out to Cali tomorrow!

I appreciate everyone's advice...I do. But I don't have the free time it takes and my 3 year old boy needs my time more than that intake!

A few hours of grinding on that yesterday really gave me an appreciation for you hardcore guys (Coby, David - the Horsepower Junkie, Josh, Tintman...) I don't know how you do it! My hat's off to all of you!

You did the right thing! You have a 3 year old most of us don't that makes a big difference! And I didn't polish my intake I had it done! I would have snatched my hair smooth out to do it with what I had to work with! Flat and round stuff I can get with it, intakes NO!

Grinding parts to shape and getting them straight is just a little dusty...The black crap that gets all over everything is what really sucks. By the time you buy all the tools it's cheaper to just send it out....although i think they get 350 to polish a split case around here.

You could always ceramcoat it or get it hydro dipped. Dipping it you could make it look like carbon fiber. Way cool

I wonder if that would make a intake retain heat????? That would not be a good thing! I was told not to C coat one for this reason!

our ol local guy won't ceramic coat an intake, claims it warps them due to extreme heat of the oven.
