I'm thinking BTDT. My lovely bride was all over this - NOT. :(:(

The Piranha movie shoot was a blast, great experience, etc, but we never really got fully compensated for the damages. Since I wouldn't let anyone else drive my boat, based upon my movie experience, I'd have to take vacation that week to drive it for them. This would mean a level of compensation that would be much higher than the movie paid (and no, I wouldn't be taking it out in trade, my wife wouldn't understand), and a level of detailing/repair that a non-boater wouldn't think of doing. The movie, for example, wanted to give me a galvanized anchor for my color-coordinated one, and white lines for my color ones, etc.... If I hadn't dove on my polished box anchor, they'd have replaced it with a galvanized Danforth, as well.

A boat full of beauties is tempting though...

For those that are interested you can email Matt @ mattg@swatup.com for details and to work out compensation/hotel. I told him I would ask around to see if people would do it but do not in anyway want to be the middle man or held accountable for anything.

Tell him Shep told you about the Havasu Spring Break dealio and you want more details. This way I am not answering 20 questions from 20 people, which I have no idea the answers to. :headscratch:

While Matt knows how anal most people are about their boats and the risk of taking people you don't know out on your boat, his boss does not. His last statement was if it works great but if not no big deal.

Good luck.
