not to sound like an ass, but with an impeller puller. post were you are located and you may find someone local that has one you can borrow. DO NOT try a three jaw puller as you can and probably will damage the impeller.

I thought Nate was helping you. Oh I guess he was :D We have had to split impellers with a hacksaw blade before , just take your time and dont go to far. saltwater can really make em stick . ceya:)hand

Just alittle FYI, when putting the pump back together there are clearances that need to be checked, you should probably stop, and talk to sombody who can get you going in the right direction before you go breaking anything else. This is a good place to ask Q's.

I broke one on my buddys boat even with the correct puller. Some times they just dont want to come off. When i put the impeller back on i always anti-seize the shit out of it! Had my imepller off two times since my original rebuild and it gives me no problems at all.

good advice from shaun, if its been in salt water it can be a pain to get off, i have removed some of the most stubborn by using a large hyd. press if you have one, remove clip ring on main bearing and packing follower and etc. stand pump up in press support properly and press shaft and imp. out of pump. invert imp and shaft in press and press shaft out of imp. much easier on shaft than prying to beat it out or damage it from trying to cut imp off. ggod luck pm if i can help
